Stenciling

Stenciling is the process of applying a pattern, design, words, etc. to a surface, using a thin material such as Mylar from which figures or letters have been cut out, and paint being rubbed, brushed, or pressed over the sheet, passing through the perforations and onto the surface creating a repeating pattern on the wall.
